Change Your Mind, Change Your Body is a comprehensive behavior modification program developed by Jody Miller, MA, RCEP. It provides a framework with which to explore, identify and change the behaviors that are preventing optimal healthy body weight and healthy nutrition.

Identify hunger patterns, stressors and triggers of emotional eating
Improve self care both physically and emotionally
Understand and practice effective exercise approaches for your personal needs
Learn new coping strategies for long term behavior change
The Change Your Mind, Change Your Body workshop takes a comprehensive, holistic and very compassionate approach to the struggle of taking the best care of ourselves possible, losing weight and keeping it off. It is designed for those who have significant weight to lose as well as those who are trying to maintain a healthy weight, and addresses the needs of every fitness level from those just getting started to the avid competitive athlete. The program philosophy takes into consideration individual life circumstances so that every participant can personalize their experience.
Change Your Mind, Change Your Body consists of 12 weekly 90 minute group sessions. Each session includes a topic for discussion, an education component for nutrition, and thirty minutes of aerobic cross training exercise. There is no prescribed diet. An individual consultation/assessment (1 hour) is scheduled prior to the start of the workshop as well as following the workshop.
